Whether for your home or business, a security system provides you with peace of mind. Homes and businesses with security systems are less likely to be broken into than those without security systems. In most cases, losses due to burglary are less in homes and businesses with security systems than those without security systems.
How often have you heard an alarm siren howling or seen a security strobe light flashing in front of a building? How many times have you actually picked up the phone and reported the alarm?
With a Page monitored alarm, you can be sure that our team of trained, qualified and licensed staff will be ready to action a response to your premises.
Security Alarms systems rely on the siren noise deterring an intruder by alerting people within the vicinity that a break-in has occurred and at the same time communicating an alarm signal through to a monitoring centre who will action this according to your instructions
Monitored Alarm systems report status changes at your property to our Monitoring Centre via the telephone lines 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, so that prompt action can be taken by our monitoring centre operators.
There are a number of monitoring options available:
Dialler Monitoring communicates with the Monitoring Centre via the normal telephone line alerting our operators of alarm events for action. The panel sends test reports at regular intervals and open/close signals (for businesses) which allow our operators to check the communication status of the security system with our Monitoring Centre. (Suitable for low to medium risk.)
Pagecom Monitoring communicates using a radio frequency network When the pagecom line of communication is lost the Monitoring Centre will be alerted Once communication has been lost this system has the contingency of communication backup with PSTN ensuring that your system continues to communicate with the Monitoring Centre.
GPRS Monitoring communications using the mobile telephone network. If these communications are lost the system will then report on PSTN (standard telephone line). When the GPRS line of communication is lost the Monitoring Centre will be alerted. Once communication has been lost this system has the contingency of communication backup with PSTN ensuring that your system continues to communicate with the Monitoring Centre.

The smoke detectors in you home are “local” detectors. That is, when they detect smoke, they make noise but nothing more. If a fire starts while you are not home, they do not alert you.
With a smoke detection system the Page Security Monitoring Centre will be notified and they will notify you. The fire department can be sent to your home as quickly as possible, regardless of whether or not you are home at the time.
Enter your 4 digit code and turn the system off.
The majority of modern systems have the capacity to communicate to the monitoring centre that a valid code has turned the system off after the code has been entered. This is acknowledged as an alarm on entry, therefore the alarm does not need to be actioned by the monitoring centre.
All security systems are fitted with a back-up battery for use in the event of main power failure.
Yes, Page Security is very experienced installing wireless systems due to the inability to run cables concealed within some buildings.
